Partnerships & Accreditations
WE ARE CARF ACCREDITED
Phoenix is examined annually by CARF International. CARF accredited programs include evaluation, adjustment services, placement, governance, supported employment, safety and many others. This accreditation exemplifies Phoenix’s commitment to quality and ethics in providing the extensive services we do for people with vocational disabilities.

WE HAVE STRONG PARTNERSHIPS BOTH LOCALLY AND NATIONALLY
Phoenix is a United Way of Madison County partner agency. Phoenix is also affiliated with the Combined Federal Campaign, the State Combined Campaign, the Better Business Bureau of North Alabama, and many of the Chambers of Commerce across North Alabama, including Huntsville-Madison County, Athens, Cullman, Decatur, and Hartselle. These memberships prove Phoenix’s commitment to the local North Alabama community and region.

WE BRING MORE JOBS TO THE LOCAL COMMUNITY THROUGH ABILITYONE
In 1973, the United States Congress passed what was then called the Javits Wagner O’Day Act, currently known as the AbilityOne Program, which allows federal government agencies the opportunity to set aside contract opportunities for the production of goods and attainment of services, to employ people with vocational disabilities. Leaders of Phoenix recognized the opportunity this law provided for the Huntsville Community. And now AbilityOne contracts account for nearly $40 million in annual sales for Phoenix and over 700 jobs for individuals in six different states.
